Our Organization
SPIA operates as a non-profit trade organization dedicated to advancing the collective interests of Singapore’s diverse plastics community. Our membership reflects the industry’s comprehensive ecosystem, bringing together multinational corporations alongside large, medium, and small local enterprises. This inclusive approach ensures representation across virtually every facet of the plastic industry.
Our members encompass the full spectrum of capabilities, including precision injection molding companies, extrusion specialists, blow molding manufacturers, raw material suppliers, machinery and equipment providers, and specialized service companies that support the industry’s technological advancement and operational excellence.
Our Governance
SPIA is led by a Board of Directors comprising 16 elected members who provide strategic direction and oversight for the association. Board members are elected during alternate Annual General Meetings, ensuring continuity and accountability in our leadership. The Board convenes regularly on a bi-monthly basis to guide the association’s initiatives, address industry concerns, and advance our collective objectives.

SPIA is committed to providing cooperation and leadership to the industry while promoting Singapore as a regional plastics hub. We serve as the primary platform for industry collaboration, knowledge sharing, and collective advocacy.
What We Do

We collectively and systematically represent our members' views to government agencies and relevant economic bodies on policies, practices, and legislation affecting Singapore's plastic industry.
